Description
*Basic/Certified Substitute Teacher Training has a minimum of five students per class. If the minimum is not met, the class will be rescheduled.
This 4-hour live course is designed to provide prospective substitute teachers with the principles and practices of effective teaching. The extensive curriculum focuses on roles and responsibilities of substitute teachers, skills for basic classroom management, instructional techniques, and classroom safety in addition to professionalism and setting the scene for success for both teachers and students. Participants will leave with a thorough understanding of effective teaching principles and prepared for future substitute teaching assignments.
